Cassiopea is a Japanese jazz-funk band that was formed in 1976. The group consists of five members: Issei Noro on guitar, Minoru Mukaiya on keyboards, Tatsuo Hayashi on drums, Akira Jimbo on drums, and Yoshihiro Naruse on bass.
Their music combines elements of jazz, funk, and fusion to create a unique sound. From the beginning, Cassiopea has been recognized for their technical mastery and impressive improvisations.
